We will conduct geotechnical engineering analyses with respect to code-based seismic <br /> design parameters, site earthwork, lateral earth pressures for below-grade vaults, foundation <br /> bearing capacities for appurtenant structures,construction dewatering, and structural <br /> backfilling. <br /> 4. We will prepare and submit a draft Geotechnical Report with design and construction <br /> recommendations. We will then address any review comments or questions on the draft and <br /> issue a final Geotechnical report, sealed by the undersigned licensed professional engineer. <br /> Budget <br /> We are prepared to undertake this project on a cost,plus time and materials,basis for a budget not <br /> to exceed $9,170. As requested,this budget includes a$2,000 contingency to cover unanticipated <br /> expenses and/or minor scope changes. A breakdown of our cost estimate is presented in the <br /> attached spreadsheet.A copy of our most recent WSDOT-approved overhead rate calculation <br /> (209.25%), is also attached. <br /> Schedule <br /> We are prepared to begin work on this project within two weeks of notice to proceed(NTP). We <br /> will work with the City of Everett schedule the field work on a day that is convenient to the City. <br /> Our draft report will be submitted within four weeks of completion of the field exploration. Our <br /> final report will be submitted within one week of receipt of review comments and your request for a <br /> final. <br /> Contract Terms and Conditions <br /> We are prepared to contract with the City of Everett using your standard consulting services <br /> agreement. <br /> Closure <br /> We appreciate and thank you for the opportunity to provide this proposal for geotechnical <br /> engineering services.
