The purpose of the examination was to determine the hazard rating of the subject tree and suggest remedial action if appropriate. The tree was examined on August 2,2d04 by Tom Hanson. Tree detail is attached on the "Tree hazarc! Evaluafion Form". The subject tree is 80 or more years in age with a sing{e trunk. It is an over- mature tree that has reached its li#e span. I did not fi�d evidence of fungal invasion or decayed wood. However the tree has small, discolored leaves and appears to be in decline, particulariy on the north side. The soil around the tree is mounded and the sidewalk is heaved and despite recent repairs is causing a sign�cant hazard condition. It is my recommendation that this tree be removed. The� is no warranfy suggested for any of the t►�es subject to this report. Weather, later►t bee conditions, and future man-caused activities could cause physiologic changes and deteriorating tree condition. Over time, deteriorating tr�e condifions may appear and ther� may 6e conditions, which are not now visib/e which, cou/d cause tree f�ilu�. This report or the v�rba! comments made at the site in no way warrant the st►uctura/ sfiabilify or long term conditian of any tree, but represent my opinion based on the obser►rations made.
