May 14, 2014 <br /> CITIZEN COMMENTS <br /> Chuck Solarek, Everett, spoke in support of removing Legion Memorial <br /> and Walter Hall Golf Courses from structural deficit discussions and asked <br /> city administrators to reach out to the golfing community for input on how <br /> to make the courses more profitable in the future. <br /> COUNCIL BRIEFING AGENDA: <br /> Authorize the Mayor on behalf of City of Everett Community <br /> Development Entity, LLC and its subsidiaries to take all actions and <br /> execute all documents necessary to close the loan with Everett <br /> Hospitality Concepts, LLC. <br /> Presented by Richard Tarry, Public Works <br /> Authorize the Mayor to sign the Professional Services Agreement <br /> with Geo Test Services, Inc. for Quality Assurance Inspection and <br /> Testing for the Water Pollution Control Facility Phase Cl <br /> Expansion, in the amount of$252,215.00. <br /> Presented by John Nottingham, Public Works <br /> Council Member Gipson asked if the city had considered certifying city <br /> inspectors rather than entering into professional services contracts. <br /> Mr. Nottingham said he would take the question back to the construction <br /> management team for consideration and report back to the City Council. <br /> Award contract for construction of the Water Main Replacement "0" <br /> Project to B&L Utility, Inc. in the amount of $672,257.04, which <br /> includes Washington State Sales Tax. <br /> Presented by Richard Hefti, Public Works <br /> 125 <br />
