May 14, 2014 <br /> CONSENT ITEMS: <br /> Moved by Council Member Gipson, seconded by Council Member <br /> Anderson, to approve the following consent items: <br /> RESOLUTION - CLAIMS <br /> To adopt Resolution No. 6735 acknowledging the payment of audited <br /> and approved claims against the City of Everett in the amount of <br /> $940,710.06 for the period of April 26, 2014, through May 2, 2014. <br /> STREET CLOSURE — COMMUNITY STREET FAIR <br /> To authorize the closure of Wetmore Avenue, Pacific to 32nd Street, <br /> on July 4, 2014, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., for a Community Street Fair <br /> sponsored by the First Baptist Church of Everett. <br /> STREET CLOSURE —ARTIST'S GARAGE SALE <br /> To authorize the closure of Hoyt Avenue, Pacific to Wall, from 6 p.m., <br /> June 6 through 9 a.m., June 7, 2014, and the closure of Hoyt Avenue, <br /> Wall to Hewitt, from 6 p.m., June 6 through 6 p.m., June 7, 2014, for <br /> an Artist's Garage Sale sponsored by the Schack Art Center. <br /> SPECIAL EVENT — FUNDRAISING WALK/RUN <br /> Authorize the use of the sidewalks, bike lanes and shoulders of <br /> Alverson Boulevard and Grand Avenue from Legion Memorial Park <br /> to 19th Street for a Fundraising Walk/Run on August 23, 2014, 7 a.m. <br /> to 12 p.m., sponsored by the Brett Akio Jensen Memorial <br /> Scholarship Committee. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes, except Council <br /> Members Murphy and Stonecipher who were excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> 126 <br />
