Op ,, <br /> 0101,-ma . <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 2674-02 <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING CODE <br /> (ORDINANCE NO. 1671-89, AS AMENDED TITLE 19 EMC) <br /> TO ALLOW VEHICLE SALES ON A PORTION OF <br /> EVERETT MALL WAY SUBJECT TO CERTAIN <br /> CONDITIONS <br /> WHEREAS, the City did adopt Ordinance No. 1671-89 establishing a new <br /> Zoning Code which became effective on January 13, 1990;and <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held two workshops and a public hearing <br /> to gather public tesitimony and review the standards and regulations related to allowing vehicle <br /> sales along Everett Mall Way; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has recommended that the City Council <br /> amend the Zoning Code to add vehicle sales to a portion of Everett Mall Way with certain <br /> conditions; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing and took public testimony to <br /> review the standards and regulations related to vehicle sales on Everett May Way; and <br /> WHEREAS, City Council fords that regulations set forth in this ordinance for <br /> vehicle sales are necessary and should be adopted due to the following: <br /> 1. Since 1989, there has been a reduction in the availability of large parcels of <br /> land which are able to accommodate new vehicle sales. <br />
