•

Ted Budden `Q l — (1
From:
Sent:
To:
Subject:
Ted Budden
Wednesday, March 09, 2016 8:19 AM
Donald Cunningham
RE: Inspection 2326 McDougall
Don,
Electrical inspector Tim Alaniz and I conducted and inspection of the house at 2326 McDougall yesterday to assess the
electrical and other concerns. Here is the outcome of our inspection.
Inspector Alaniz has confirmed that the electrical heating circuits require trouble shooting and repair. The electrical
receptacle that is located above the baseboard heater in the living room is required to be relocated so it is not above the
heater. Or as an alternate a smaller heater could be used so that the outlet is not located above a heater.
A light that is located in the main bedroom closet requires replacement as it is damaged and of a type that is not allowed
in a closet.
These electrical repairs must be made by a state licensed electrical contractor. Ms. Nguyen has obtained a permit for
this repair.
The wet conditions in the basement have improved dramatically. Ms. Nguyen's contractor has placed crushed rock in
the underfloor area to mitigate the water intrusion problem. An existing sump is removing the water that is coming in.
This pump may require servicing as it was observed to be running continuously.
The tenant explained that a hose bib located at the rear of the house is leaking this should be repaired as necessary.
Permits for this minor repair work are not required.
Thank you for your efforts in this matter.
Ted eudden
Chief Inspector
Everett Building Department
425.257 7271
From: Donald Cunningham
Sent: Monday, March 07, 2016 9:06 AM
To: 'Jon'
Cc: Ted Budden
Subject: Inspection 2326 McDougall
I, Tuy Nguyen have re and unde d the contents
hereof. ✓
' 03 a j6
S ignatuie Date
Jon-
Ted Budden is planning to stop by today to look at the work.
