May 21, 2014 <br /> Council Member Gipson stated that there are new sidewalks being put in <br /> on 36th Street and questioned why he hasn't been able to get sidewalks <br /> on Morgan. <br /> Ryan Sass, Public Works explained that the sidewalks are part of a <br /> project being funded through a pedestrian safety grant for various portions <br /> of north Everett. He stated that staff is in the process of applying for <br /> grants for additional safety route projects for schools, one of which is <br /> Madison School, just north of Morgan. <br /> Council Member Bader reported on his attendance at the Library Board <br /> meeting last night. <br /> Council Member Roberts stated that the Transportation Advisory <br /> Committee began reviewing the six-year transportation improvement plan. <br /> They have been commenting and providing input on the city's <br /> Comprehensive Plan's transportation element.
