I <br /> POLICE HQ—MASONRY CLEANING AND REPAIR APRIL 15,2016 <br /> SECTION 01 3119—PROJECT MEETINGS <br /> PART 1 -GENERAL <br /> 1.01 PRECONSTRUCTION MEETING <br /> A. After award of the Contract,Engineer will schedule a pre-construction conference at a date and <br /> time mutually agreeable to all concerned parties. Conference will be held at Client Agency's office. <br /> Engineer will conduct conference,record minutes, and issue copies thereof to all in attendance. <br /> B. Attendance: Owner,Client Agency,Engineer,Engineer's consultants as requested by Engineer will <br /> be in attendance. Require attendance by Contractor's project manager and job superintendent, <br /> mechanical Subcontractor, electrical Subcontractor,and other Subcontractors, Suppliers,and parties <br /> interested in the performance of the Work as necessary. <br /> C. Purpose: Purpose of the conference is to introduce all primary parties involved in the construction <br /> of the Project and to review procedures to be followed during construction. Discussion will follow <br /> detail Project Manual requirements including,but not limited to: <br /> 1. Project Directory: <br /> a. Project number and title. <br /> b. Names,telephone numbers,and facsimile transmission(FAX)numbers of the <br /> following: <br /> 1) Owner and Client Agency. <br /> 2) Contractor. <br /> 3) Engineer and Engineer's design team. <br /> ' c. Names of project managers,superintendents,and foremen and accompanying <br /> telephone and FAX numbers for the following: <br /> 1) Contractor. <br /> 2) Contractor's major Subcontractors. <br /> 3) Mechanical Subcontractor. <br /> 4) Electrical Subcontractor. <br /> 2. Communications: <br /> a. Channel of communications. <br /> b. Requirements for use of Project identification. <br /> c. Instructions to Contractor. <br /> d. Oral conversations and requirements for written backup. <br /> e. Appropriate Contractor-Owner and Contractor-Client Agency communication. <br /> f. Requests for information from Contractor to Engineer or to Owner or Client Agency. <br /> 3. Submittal Data: <br /> a. List of Subcontractors and Suppliers. <br /> b. Submittals. <br /> I c. Samples <br /> d. Progress Schedule. <br /> 4. Change Orders: <br /> a. Origination. <br /> b. Required cost breakdown. <br /> c. Inclusion in monthly pay application. <br /> d.
