1 <br /> POLICE HQ—MASONRY CLEANING AND REPAIR APRIL 15, 2016 <br /> E. Subcontractors shall review all schedules prior to submittal. At the Owner's option and sole <br /> discretion, Owner may require Contractor to obtain written acceptance of each schedule by <br /> subcontractors as practical and feasible,as the schedule relates to subcontractors' work. I <br /> 1.04 UPDATES <br /> A. The Project Construction Schedule will be reviewed and updated at each progress meeting. All I <br /> changes to the project schedule of more than three(3)working days shall be documented. The <br /> Schedule shall be updated to show measures required to bring project back on schedule. The <br /> Contractor alone shall remain responsible for adjusting forces,equipment, and work schedules to <br /> ensure completion of the work within the Contract Time. Any mistakes or errors in any schedule, <br /> including,but not limited to, mistakes or errors of logic, order,precedence,and duration,are and <br /> remain the Contractor's. <br /> B. Should any activity not be completed by the stated scheduled date,the Owner will have the right to <br /> require the Contractor to expedite completion of the activity by whatever means appropriate and <br /> necessary,without additional compensation to the Contractor. <br /> C. The Schedule shall be used to justify time extension days requested by the Contractor. For <br /> additional days requested,the Schedule shall be detailed enough to identify the work item(s) affected <br /> and the relationship to the changed or added work. <br /> D. Schedule shall be provided during the construction meetings. Schedule shall be on 1 lx l 7 papers and <br /> 111 <br /> shall show current work progress. <br /> 1.05 OWNER PROVIDED MATERIALS I <br /> A. All items to be provided by the owner shall be incorporated into the schedule. The schedule shall <br /> show when the materials are required to be delivered to the project and when the materials will be <br /> installed.These materials are to be included in the preliminary schedule,upon review; owner will <br /> confirm lead time for materials and delivery dates. <br /> B. Contractor failure to include owner provided materials into the schedule shall be responsible for all <br /> delays to the work or failure to notify the owner of tasks dependent upon the owner furnished <br /> materials shall constitute a waiver by the contractor of any contract claim arising out of or related to <br /> the timeliness of the delivery of materials or installation of such materials. 1 <br /> 1.06 WORK BY OTHERS <br /> A. Schedule must allow for timely incorporation of work under separate Contract with Owner. Work 1 <br /> by others shall be as outlined in Section 011200—Multiple Contract. Contractor shall incorporate <br /> required lead times and work schedule outlined in Section 011200 into the project schedule. <br /> 1.07 SCHEDULED WORK ITEMS <br /> A. The following activities in addition to detailed construction activities shall be included in the <br /> contractors' schedule. <br /> 1.
