1 <br /> POLICE HQ—MASONRY CLEANING AND REPAIR APRIL 15,2016 <br /> 3. After inspection confirms that the Work is Substantially Complete,the Owner shall <br /> prepare the certificate of Substantial Completion establishing the date of Substantial <br /> Completion and provide a copy to the Contractor with a copy of the punch list. The <br /> date of Substantial Completion shall be used to determine the cut-off date for <br /> liquidated damages. <br /> 4. Re-inspection Fees: When inspection shows that the Work has not attained the <br /> completion status claimed,the Contractor shall compensate the Owner for additional <br /> time expended in subsequent inspections and will be deducted from the final billing. <br /> 1.03 REQUIREMENTS FOR ACHIEVING PHYSICAL COMPLETION I <br /> A. The Contractor shall show evidence of compliance with requirements of the following: <br /> 1. All permits required by regulatory agencies that have been issued. <br /> 2. Discontinue(or change over)and remove from project site temporary facilities and <br /> services,along with construction tools and facilities,mock-ups, and similar <br /> elements. <br /> 3. All required training has been completed. <br /> 4. All deficiencies identified on the punch list have been corrected. <br /> 5. Upon correction of all punch list items,the Contractor shall notify the Owner on the <br /> attached form that physical completion has been achieved and request scheduling of <br /> the a fmal punch list inspection. <br /> B. Process to Achieve Physical Completion: <br /> 1. Upon receipt of the Contractor's request for final inspection,the Owner,within 10 <br /> (10)working days, shall schedule a final punch list inspection. <br /> 2. The Owner shall prepare the final punch list inspection report based upon the results <br /> of the inspection. <br /> 3. After inspection shows that all punch list items have been corrected,the Owner shall <br /> prepare the certificate of Physical Completion establishing the Physical Completion <br /> Date and provide a copy to the Contractor. The date of Physical Completion shall <br /> be used to determine the start of the one-year and extended warranties period. <br /> 4. Re-inspection Fees: When inspection shows that the Work has not attained the <br /> completion status claimed,the Contractor shall compensate the Owner for additional <br /> time expended in subsequent inspections and will be deducted from the final billing.
