Bids will not be <br /> received thereafter. At the appointed time, all bids will be opened and read aloud in the office <br /> space across the hall from the City Clerk's Office on the first floor of the Wall Street Building, <br /> Everett,WA. <br /> The character and scope of the work includes, but is not limited to: scope of work. The <br /> ' engineer's estimate for this Project is$500,000.00. <br /> A pre-bid walk-through is scheduled at time,day of week, date at the site at ADDRESS,Everett, <br /> WA.Any interested bidders may attend. Any questions and/or answers that may affect the bid will <br /> be included in an addendum to the bid documents and sent to all the planholders. <br /> Bid documents and performance plans and specifications may also be viewed or ordered on-line <br /> from Builders Exchange at http://www.bxwa.com/public/everett.html. The City of Everett <br /> strongly encourages contractors to register for the bidder's list kept at Builder's Exchange of <br /> Washington, Inc. A one hundred(100)percent Payment and Performance Bond will <br /> be required of the successful bidder to guarantee faithful performance of the contract. <br /> The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any irregularities or <br /> informalities. Except as otherwise provided in the Instructions to Bidders,no bidder may <br /> withdraw his bid after the hour set for the opening thereof. The City further reserves the right to <br /> make the bid award as deemed in the best interest of the City.
