WSDOT"2012 Standard Specifications for Road, Bridge and Municipal Construction", <br /> as amended by the APWA Supplements,hereinafter referred to as the"Standard <br /> Specifications." <br /> 2. City of Everett"Design and Construction Standards and Specifications" (Revised 1-08), <br /> as found online on the City's Website at: <br /> http://www.ci.everett.wa.us/GetDoc.aspx?DocID=273 <br /> 3. "Standard Plans for Road and Bridge Construction,"latest edition as prepared by <br /> WSDOT. <br /> 4. "Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices" (MUTCD), latest edition. <br /> 5. APWA Standards, latest edition. <br /> 6. AWWA Standards, latest edition. <br /> 7. American Concrete Institute (ACI), latest edition <br /> ' 1.4 Examination of Site Conditions,Contract Documents and Regulations <br /> A. Bidders shall inspect the Site of the Work and carefully review the Contract Documents to <br /> satisfy themselves,by personal examination, physical testing, or by such other means as they <br /> may prefer, of the location of the proposed Work, the actual physical conditions of and at the <br /> Site, surface and subsurface conditions, and conditions ordinarily to be encountered and <br /> generally recognized as inherent in the Work. If, during the course or as a result of such <br /> inspection, examination and testing, a Bidder finds facts or conditions that appear to conflict <br /> or are omitted from the Contract Documents, or with other data or material made available <br /> relating to the Work, Bidder shall so notify the City in writing, and may apply to the City for <br /> additional information and explanation before submitting their Bid. <br /> B. The submission of a Bid by the Bidder shall constitute acknowledgment that, in preparing <br /> and submitting a Bid, Bidder has not only reviewed the Contract Documents, but is also <br /> relying on their own knowledge, examination, inspection, and testing of: <br /> 1. the Site of the Work, <br /> INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS 00 2113 - 1 <br />
