Please review <br />and respond to the comments below. All required submittals must be of sufficient detail and <br />information to ensure that the proposed structure will be constructed in compliance with all <br />adopted codes. <br />In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be necessary to provide the <br />Building Division with two sets of construction documents reflecting the corrections requested. <br />Those revised sheets can be sent by e-mail to expedite processing. <br />General <br />1. Please transfer the scoping notes from the letter to the drawings so that the letter is not <br />required for clarity. <br />Construction <br />1. Please indicate that the existing roof is to be removed and replaced with the new roofing <br />indicated on the drawings. <br />2. The existing R-30 insulation indicated to remain should be noted that it will be verified <br />to be continuous, and where it is not, it will be replaced, per the WSEC Chapter 2, <br />continuous insulation. <br />3. The new roof hatches cut into the sheathing should have the detail reference noted. <br />Please indicate the size of the opening to be cut on the detail 1, sheet A2.02. <br />Applicable codes include the 2012 International Building Code (IBC), the 2012 International Fire <br />Code (IFC), the 2012 International Mechanical Code (IMC), the 2012 Washington State Energy <br />Code (WSEC), as amended by the by the State of Washington and adopted by the Ciry of <br />Everett. The current IBC referenced standard for accessible design is the Accessible and Usable <br />Buildings and Facilities ICC A117.1-2009. Federa/ADA regu/ations and standards may be more <br />restrictive. <br />yz <br />
