The overall scape is to replace the existing raof inembrane while preserving the <br />existing R-3Q rigid roofi insufation. <br />New access ha#ches are proposed at 45 locations as indicated on the roaf plan submitted <br />for review. The purpose of these openings is to accommodate maintenance access to <br />actuators iocated on the tap of each Air Tern�inai lJnit (ATU}. The ATU's provide code <br />required ventilation, heating and cooling for the interiar building spaces. Each of the ATU's <br />are installed in the space between roof joists and the actuatars are not accessihle from <br />below. Seven of these actuators have faiEed over the past few years and access openings <br />were instaNed ta access and repiace the faiEed actuators. As p�rt of the scheduled raof <br />replacement; access openir�gs are proposed for the remaining 45 ATU's to faciiitate future <br />maintenance.
