The son, who actually built the bu1T ing for his mom, is incarcerated in Eas• Washington for an indefinite
period, like 3 to 5 years. I checked with Chicago title company who we had title insurance with and they don't
cover anything like no final permit on a standard or extended policy.
At any rate, I'm running out of time and wanted to send what I've basically included here Paul or maybe you can
forward it to him so he can give some thought and hopefully some consideration to the two sets of full plans. I
have a drawing for the area we walled in to enclose the carport and I believe the other items that were noted on
the correction were done.
Thanks again for your help and sending me the pdf file for the plans and notes for corrections. I would like to
get this all resolved next week by the deadline if at all possible.
Thank you,
Mike Sylte
Pro Realty Options inc
On Mon, Jun 23, 2014 at 5:05 PM, Meg Haley <MHaleyaeverettwa. _ov> wrote:
Correction: Pau! I wanted to let you know we have been thinking about how to make this easier
for you, as the property manager, and for your client, to bring the building into compliance, in terms of fees and permit
applications.
2306 Wetmore Ave has an active Code Enforcement case number CE14-0392, and permits will be required, not only for
the work without permits, but for the expired permits from 2006 (Building, Public Works,
Mechanical/Plumbing). Permits were issued in 2007-8 for a new triplex, but corrections were not re-inspected, and the
permits (building, public works, mechanical/plumbing) expired.
In addition to the carport enclosure being shown as new work on the plans, a full set of plans will be required for
inspection of the building for a building permit. By preparing the permit submittal as a combination permit, it will be the
quickest and least expensive way to bring the building into compliance.
You can combine the building and mechanica/ drawings into one set (two copies are required for submittal) with the
permit application, and that will save you the step of submitting two different sets of drawings. Exhaust fans etc. should
be identified on the plans.
Here are the drawings from the original building permit.
« File: 2306-WETMORE_AVE--2007-A,B,C--PLAN.pdf»
