If a complete application has not been filed for a sign permit within eighteen months on a <br /> project for which a land use permit has been approved under Review Process II, and an extension <br /> has not been granted: <br /> a. The land use permit shall be deemed to be terminated, except where a time limit on the land <br /> use permit is otherwise established by federal or state law, city ordinance, or an executed <br /> development agreement. <br /> b. If the permittee requests an extension in writing not later than eighteen months from the land <br /> use permit date,the director may grant a six-month extension. <br /> 2. The Planning Director's decision may be appealed. Appeal forms are available fiom the <br /> Planning Department and must be submitted along with the required filing fee within 14 days of <br /> the date of this decision.
