Trick�er, <br />I am a disab�ed senior citizen ar�d have been livzng at 7333 Beverly Lane, Apt 103, <br />Everett, WA 9g2p3 for six yea�•s. I am tivi7.iing to you in response to a 20-day notice <br />delivere�± to me on January 8, 20i�. I have enciosed a copy of the rlotice for your <br />reference. <br />In November 2013, I experienced plumbing problems in n�y rini� and requested repairs <br />from the property manager. The property manager attempted to i•eznedy the plurnbing <br />problem with Drano, but it was ineffective. When she Iater rehjined to my apartmeiat, T <br />complained to her about the contintiing problems. The property manager became angry <br />and shoved me. ti1y }iusband witnessed the assault and caIled the police. The policc <br />resporzded atzd T filed a report. Her actions caused injury to me. <br />In December 2013, I received a 20-day notice to terrninate #enanc}� that appeared to be in <br />retaliation for my request for repairs and the assault on nze. I at�empted to pay rent fox <br />Januaiy 2014 by certified mail, but the propez�ty manager returned my check. Then tivhile <br />I was outside my tuiit checking my mail, the pz•opez�ty manager approached nze and threw <br />mail at me. I filed another police repaz-t and the af%cer advised me to get a restraining <br />order against the property manager. <br />On December 31, 2013, I obtained a restraining arder against the property manager <br />have enclosed a copy of the restraining order for your reference. <br />Tlie notices.to terminate my tenancy are retaliatory and therefore a violation of tlie <br />Residential Landlord-Tenant Act. <br />
