Aclditional revisions or additions may be <br />required by other departments (such as Utilities, Planning, Public Works, or Fire). <br />Please submit two sets of drawings (or one set of drawings by e-mail) with a response letter <br />indicating how the following corrections are resolved ori the plan set. All required submittals <br />must be of sufficient detail and information to ensure that the proposed structure will be <br />constructed in compliance with all adopted codes. <br />Occupancy <br />✓1. Previous comment.• Please show the occupancy type (classificatio� and occupant load <br />of each occupied room in the administration building, per IBC Table 1004.1.2. <br />a. The lounge and laundry room have no o�ccupants calculated. A second <br />emergency exit is provided for the occu��ants in these rooms that exits into the <br />play area. <br />�2. Pre�ious comment.• For the purpose of the certificate of occupancy, please include the <br />total occupant load of the building summarized iin a code analysis section on the cover <br />sheet. <br />Egr�ss <br />✓1. Previous comment.• The daycare center doors should be shown on the drawings as <br />operable from egress side without the use of a�:ey, special knowledge, or effort, per IBC <br />section 1008.1.9. The e ress qates in the pla�yard aqpear to be cabled and locked <br />with a kev. <br />a. Please show the intended path of egress for the play area and daycare on the <br />drawings. Where the occupant load exceeds 50, panic hardware should be <br />shown on the drawings on egress doors, per IBC section 1008.1.10. <br />i. Comment: the path of egress can either be from the play area in through <br />the building to the public way, or from the building through the play area <br />to the public way. <br />ii. The door from the lounge has panic hardware, but does not appear to <br />latch. It exits into the play area. Please clarify the path of egress for the <br />lounge and laundry area. <br />
