8. Kitchen sink and washer do not have vents. <br />9. Corrugated piping under cabinets are not approved fittings. <br />10. Basement bathroom installed without permits or inspections. <br />11. Water heater "B-vent" shall not pass through wall without proper clearances and <br />listed nhimble (IRC — M1803.3.1). <br />12. Straps on water heater shall be installed to prevent any horizontal displacement. <br />13. Return air on furnace not installed properly. <br />14. Minimum Ceiling height for habitable spaces (7'-0" min) is not provided in a <br />portion of the basement. Therefore that portion of the basement can not be used <br />for living space. If it is your intention to maintain the rest of the basement as <br />living space it would be necessary to submit construction drawings of the space <br />that you are attempting to legalize as a legitimate living space. <br />15. Fixtures noted that were installed without permits or inspections include: Shower, <br />Toilet, Lavatory, and Kitchen sink. <br />16. Verify minimum water pressure is provided. <br />All of the items 1'isted above will need to be addressed. Permits are required for any work <br />proposed and for the work already done. You may be required to submit construction <br />drawings for permits. <br />Construction documents shall be of sufficient clarity to indicate the location, nature and <br />extent of the work proposed and show in detail that it will conform to the provisions of <br />the International Residential Code and relevant laws, ordinances, rules and regulations, as <br />determined by the building official. <br />The City of Everett requires that a Licensed Electrical contractor be engaged to provide <br />an "As-Built" of new work back to the panel (including affected existing circuits). All <br />new work must meet the 2005 National Electrical Code (NEC).
