September 7, 2016 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 6:34 <br /> p.m., September 7, 2016, in the City Council Chambers of the William E. <br /> Moore Historic City Hall, Council President Murphy presiding. Upon roll <br /> call, it was found that Mayor Stephanson and Council Members Roberts, <br /> Murphy, Franklin, Bader, Stonecipher, and Tuohy were present. Council <br /> Member Moore arrived a few minutes late. <br /> Council Member Franklin led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the August 31, 2016, City Council meeting were approved <br /> as printed. <br /> President Murphy announced that Action Item No. 4 has been pulled from <br /> the agenda and moved for discussion at the next Budget Subcommittee <br /> meeting scheduled for Wednesday, September 14, 2016. <br /> MAYOR <br /> APPOINTMENTS / REAPPOINTMENTS <br /> Moved by Council Member Roberts, seconded by Council Member <br /> Stonecipher, to concur with the following appointment: <br /> Everett Housing Authority <br /> Appointment of George Perez Jr. to Position 4 for a 5-year term, <br /> beginning October 7, 2016, and expiring October 6, 2021. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Council Member Moore confirmed a meeting of the Budget Subcommittee <br /> is scheduled for Wednesday, September 14, 2016, at 5:30 p.m. in the <br /> Council Chambers. <br /> 282 <br />
