September 21, 2016 <br /> Evergreen Middle School to discuss the development of a supportive <br /> housing facility and there will be a presentation at the September 28 <br /> council meeting regarding updates to the City's work on supportive <br /> housing for the chronically homeless. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Council Member Franklin stated she attended MAP, the Mental Health <br /> Alternative Program, at the Municipal Court on Tuesday and <br /> complimented the program. She also visited the newly renovated Carl <br /> Gipson Senior Center and encouraged senior citizens to attend the <br /> Octoberfeast event on October 1 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. <br /> Council Member Tuohy stated she visited the Riverfront Redevelopment <br /> project and encouraged citizens to go view the development and new <br /> houses. <br /> Council Member Roberts attended the Emerging Cascadia Innovation <br /> Corridor Conference held in Vancouver B.C. He stated he provided Public <br /> Works staff with information technology material for the Service Center <br /> Redevelopment. <br /> President Murphy reminded the public about the open facilitated workshop <br /> to begin the visioning process on October 1 from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. in <br /> Council Chambers. Additionally, President Murphy confirmed with Council <br /> Members Roberts, Franklin and Tuohy, who attended the Happy Spa <br /> massage parlor license revocation hearing on September 7, that they <br /> were agreeable to the Proposed Findings of Fact, Conclusions of Law and <br /> Order of the City Council. Council Members Roberts, Murphy, Franklin, <br /> and Tuohy all voted yes to accept the document as presented, and <br /> President Murphy signed on behalf of the Council and provided it to the <br /> Legal Department. <br /> ADMINISTRATION UPDATE ON PRIOR BUSINESS <br /> Debra Bryant, Administration, had no report. <br /> 294 <br />
