9. The existing deck structure may not meet current code requirements, to simply state <br />"Match existing" for the various components does not "...indicate the location nature and <br />extent of the work proposed and show in detail that it will conform to the provisions of <br />this code..." per Section R106.1.1 International Residential Code (IRC). <br />13. A floor or a landing is required on both sides of an entrance/exit. Doors shall not swing <br />over stairs (See #2 above if you should choose to raise the floor level with a framed <br />floor). <br />14.
