June 11, 2014 <br /> Council Member Anderson commented that over the past week the <br /> Comcast Arena has hosted nine graduation ceremonies. He also reported <br /> on his attendance at a Port of Everett briefing this week regarding the <br /> Port's Waterfront Place development. <br /> CITY ATTORNEY <br /> The City Attorney had no comments. <br /> CITIZEN COMMENTS <br /> John Williams, Everett, commented on an uptick in crime in his Everett <br /> south end neighborhood and asked the Mayor and City Council to <br /> increase police patrol in this area. <br /> Council Member Stonecipher requested a future City Council briefing on <br /> crime statistics. CAA/CFO Bryant stated she would schedule. <br /> John McGuire, Everett, spoke about 1-502 and the legalization of <br /> recreational marijuana, and asked council members to reconsider their <br /> position as they debate solutions to Everett's fiscal deficit. <br /> Jamie Curtismith, Everett, spoke about 1-502 and the city of Everett tier <br /> limitations for marijuana processors. She asked that new policies for I- <br /> 502 be added to the Mayor's structural deficit study options. <br /> COUNCIL BRIEFING AGENDA: <br /> Authorize the Mayor to sign a Professional Services Agreement <br /> with Triangle Associates, Inc. to provide environmental classroom <br /> presentations in the Everett water service area in the amount of <br /> $170,000 <br /> Presented by Marla Carter, Public Works <br /> 155 <br />
