September 28, 2016 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at <br /> 12:30 p.m., September 28, 2016, in the City Council Chambers of the <br /> William E. Moore Historic City Hall, Council President Murphy presiding. <br /> Upon roll call, it was found that Mayor Stephanson and Council Members <br /> Moore, Murphy, Franklin, Bader, and Tuohy were present. Council <br /> Members Roberts and Stonecipher-were excused. <br /> Council Member Bader led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the September 21, 2016, City Council meeting were <br /> approved as printed. Council Member Bader abstained from the vote. <br /> MAYOR <br /> Fire Chief Murray Gordon introduced new Everett firefighters: Daniel <br /> Bradley, Sheridan Catlin, Jeremy Van Nuys, Aaron Tran, Douglas Brisbon, <br /> Nathan Wirtz, Jason Osborne, and Donald Rippl. Assistant Fire Chief <br /> Randall Utt presented them with their badges. <br /> Mayor Stephanson reported on his attendance at the Casino Road <br /> stakeholders meeting last night. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Council Member Franklin welcomed the eight new firefighters to the City of <br /> Everett. She also reported on her attendance at the Community Streets <br /> Initiative meeting. Council Member Franklin reminded the public that <br /> OctoberFeast will be held at Carl Gipson Senior Center on Saturday, <br /> October 1, 2016, and encouraged citizens to attend. <br /> Council Member Tuohy provided a liaison report on her attendance at the <br /> Historical Commission meeting last night. <br /> President Murphy requested a report from Administration be presented to <br /> the Council next week regarding two recent water main breaks. <br /> 300 <br />
