Work and materials to be included with this bid item removal or salvage, handling and disposal of the existing hydrant and disposal of or abandoning in place pipe, fittings, and valve. Bid Item 23 - Hydrant Lead Measurement and Payment: Unit Price per Each (EA) M The unit price per each shall be full compensation for all work to furnish and install the pipe and gate valve from the main line to connect to the existing hydrant base in accordance with applicable portion of COE Standard Drawing No. 507 including, and not limited to, all costs for clearing and grubbing; excavation, removal, haul and disposal of excavated materials; furnishing, installing, testing, and disinfecting pipe, valves, fittings, and appurtenances; shoring; dewatering; furnishing, installing and compacting bedding and backfill materials; required for the complete installation of the hydrant lead specified. Bid Item 24 - Connection to Existing 6-inch Water Main Bid Item 25 - Connection to Existing 12-inch Water Main I Bid Item 26 - Connection to Existing 16-inch Water Main Measurement and Payment: Unit Price per Each (EA) I The unit contract price for Connection to Existing -inch Water Main shall constitute full compensation for all labor, materials, tools and equipment necessary for connection to existing system, in accordance with 7-09.3(19)A including, and not limited to; all costs for traffic control, excavation, shoring, dewatering, haul and disposal of excavated materials, furnishing, installing and compacting bedding and backfill materials; labor and equipment required for the complete installation of the connection as specified. Unit contract price shall include all coordination efforts with the City and assistance as City forces make the actual connection. Connection of a water service line to the water main and connection of new water service line to existing water service line will not be considered a connection to the existing system. Bid Item 27 - Corporation Stop w/ Service Saddle, 3/4-inch Bid Item 28 - Corporation Stop w/ Service Saddle, 1-inch I Measurement and Payment: Unit Price per Each (EA). The unit contract price for Corporation Stop w/ Service Saddle, -Inch shall constitute full compensation for all labor, materials, tools and equipment necessary for installation of a new corporation stop and service saddle in accordance with Parts A and B of COE Standard Drawing No. 502A or 502C as the case may be, including and not limited to, furnishing and installing the service saddle and corporation stop; trench excavation and dewatering, pavement removal, backfill and compaction; and testing the connection. Bid Item 29 - Service Saddle and Valve Assembly, 2-inch Measurement and Payment: Unit Price per Each (EA).
