<br /> The unit price for this bid item shall include all labor, materials, equipment and related work
<br /> necessary to furnish, machine-place, compact, roll and perform density tests on multiple
<br /> lifts of HMA — CL 1/2" PG 64-22 pavement including streets, alleys, street crossings, and
<br /> driveway aprons as shown on the Plans.
<br /> Miscellaneous HMA used for pavement repair, thickened edges, extruded and wedge
<br /> curbing, placing and compacting pre-leveling, leveling and wearing courses, feathering
<br /> pavement is included in this bid item with no direct compensation made.
<br /> Furnishing and applying tack coat, prime coat, joint seal and crack sealing asphalt is to be
<br /> included in this bid item with no direct compensation made. All costs for "Anti Stripping
<br /> Additive" and "Compaction Adjustment" shall be included in the unit contract price per ton of
<br /> the HMA with no direct compensation made.
<br /> The unit price for this bid item shall include all labor, materials, equipment and related work
<br /> necessary to furnish, place, compact, roll and perform density tests on ATB placed in
<br /> accordance with the Plans, Standard Specifications, and these Special Provisions.
<br /> Bid Item 39 - Cement Concrete Sidewalk Restoration
<br /> Measurement and Payment: Unit Price per Square Yard (SY)
<br /> ' Measurement shall be per square yard as delineated by the Contractor and approved by
<br /> the Inspector and adjacent property owner prior to removal.
<br /> The unit price per square yard for restoration of existing concrete sidewalks shall be full
<br /> compensation for final sawcut and all materials, tools, labor and equipment necessary to
<br /> complete the work in accordance with the Plans, COE Standard Drawings, Standard
<br /> Specifications and these Special Provisions, including sawcutting, removal, loading, hauling
<br /> and disposal.
<br /> Bid Item 40 - Cement Concrete Curb and Gutter, Type 1
<br /> Measurement and Payment: Unit Price per Linear Foot (LF)
<br /> Measurement shall be per linear foot as delineated by the Contractor and approved by the
<br /> Inspector prior to removal.
<br /> The unit price per linear foot for restoration of concrete curbs or curb and gutter and shall
<br /> be full compensation for all materials, tools. labor and equipment necessary to complete
<br /> the Work in accordance with the Plans, COE Standard Drawings, Standard Specifications
<br /> and these Special Provisions, including sawcutting, removal, loading, hauling and disposal.
<br /> Bid Item 41 - Permanent Pavement Marking
<br /> Measurement and Payment: Lump Sum (LS)
<br /> This lump sum bid item includes all costs associated with furnishing all labor, materials, and
<br /> other equipment necessary for restoring and replacing permanent traffic marking, including
<br /> and not limited to, stop bars, turn arrows, lettering, crosswalks, reflectors, delineators, and
<br /> lane or fog-line striping removed or damaged by the Contractor's work in accordance with
<br /> the COE Standard Drawing No. 720, Special Provisions and Plans.
<br /> Bid Item 42 - Portable Changeable Message Signs
<br /> Measurement and Payment: Unit Price per Hour (HR)
<br /> Measurement shall be will be measured by the hour for the time that each sign is operating
<br /> as shown on an approved Traffic Control Plan.
<br /> The unit price, when applied to the number of units measured for this item, shall be full
<br /> compensation for all costs of labor, materials and equipment incurred by the Contractor in
