Exhibit A <br /> SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> Reid Middleton,Inc. <br /> BHC Consultants, LLC <br /> City of Everett R4 & R39 Regulator Mods <br /> Roadway Restoration and Surveying <br /> A. PROJECT UNDERSTANDING <br /> BHC Consultants requires the services of Reid Middleton, Inc. to prepare plans, <br /> specifications, and estimate for roadway restoration associated with design upgrades to <br /> the sewer and storm drainage system at two intersections in Everett, Washington. <br /> Roadway restoration work will include replacement of existing pavement with new <br /> concrete pavement and replacement of existing curb ramps with new ADA compliant <br /> curb ramps at the following intersections: <br /> • Chestnut Street and Alley(approx. 300 feet south of 26th Street) <br /> • Summit Avenue and 26th Street <br /> Reid Middleton will also conduct additional topographic survey to facilitate the design of <br /> improvements. <br /> B. ASSUMPTIONS <br /> • Both intersections contain existing concrete panels underneath asphalt pavement <br /> that will be replaced with new concrete pavement panels. The limits of <br /> intersection pavement replacement will extend to the new curb return limits. <br /> • Existing curb returns, curb ramps and sidewalk will be replaced and/or modified <br /> as follows: <br /> 1. Chestnut Street and Alley <br /> a. Extend curb, gutter, and sidewalk around southeast corner of <br /> intersection to connect existing sidewalks. <br /> b. Provide new curb return on northwest corner. <br /> c.
