• Mulching (BMP C121) <br /> • Early application of grading and rocking over pavement demo for utility reroute <br /> and grading will be used <br /> The project site is located west of the Cascade Mountain Crest. As such, no soils shall remain <br /> exposed and unworked for more than 7 days during the dry season (May 1 to September 30) <br /> and 2 days during the wet season (October 1 to April 30). Plastic covering will be stockpiled on <br /> site and used as temporary covering for unworked soil stockpiles. As a temporary cover <br /> measure for disturbed areas, mulch will be used. <br /> Installation Schedules: <br /> Plastic will be used as needed during rain events and will be placed on the slopes around the <br /> spoil pile area once the spoil pile is removed. Rock or gravel will be placed on the exposed soil <br /> on a nightly basis to keep dust and track out limited. Mulch will be used as temporary cover <br /> measure on disturbed areas that are not suitable to be covered with either plastic or rock or <br /> gravel. <br /> Inspection and Maintenance plan: <br /> The BMPs will be maintained on a weekly basis. The plastic will be monitored daily to make <br /> sure it does and blow around and will be checked within 24 hours of a rain event. <br /> Responsible Staff: <br /> Steve Roetemeyer with MidMountain Contractors will be the onsite CESCL to maintain. <br /> 1 16 <br />
