STATIC TEST FACILITY PRELIMINARY STORM DRAINAGE REPORT
EVERETT,WASHINGTON
SECTION 8: CSWPPP ANALYSIS AND DESIGN
Design of the ESC plan was completed in conformance with Minimum Requirement#2 per
the the latest 2010 City of Everett Stormwater Management Manual (SMM) and the
Washington State Department of Ecology's Stormwater Management Manual for Western
Washington, February 2005 Edition (DOE Manual). Compliance with the 9 minimum
requirements is summarized below.
1. Clearing Limits: Clearing limits have been delineated on sheet X of the civil plans.
The clearing limits extend only to those areas that will be disturbed during
construction of the subject project.
2. Cover Measures: The Erosion/Sedimentation Control Notes listed on sheet X of the
civil plans specify specific times at which temporary and permanent cover measures
will be installed.
3. Perimeter Protection: Per sheet X of the civil plans, silt fence will be used for
perimeter protection. Silt fence will be installed along the perimeters of those areas
that will be receiving silt-laden runoff.
4. Traffic Area Stabilization: A construction entrance will be installed at the entrance
to the project site. See sheets X and X for location of construction entrance and detail.
5. Sediment Retention: The proposed sediment trap will be used for sediment retention.
Sediment retention will be designed per the DOE Manual.
Surface Area:
Q1 =Developed 10- year runoff event=4.70 cfs
SA 2x Q10
.00096
SA =2x
4.70 cfs
.00096
SA =9,791 ft 2
The surface area of the pond is X at the normal water surface elevation. The
pond meets the minimum sediment pond surface area requirements.
6. Surface Water Collection: Interceptor swales will be used to direct all sediment-laden
runoff to the sedimentation pond. See sheets X and X for location of swales and
details.
7. Dewatering Control: It is anticipated that dewatering will not be required.
8. Dust Control: A note on sheet X addresses the procedure for dust control should soils
become too dry.
9. Flow Control: Not Required
CEI Project#141001 Pg. 15
