2. When maintaining corridors for aboveground lines near environmentally sensitive areas,to the extent feasible, <br /> the PUD shall leave cut tree stumps as snags for wildlife. The corridors must be replanted with native species <br /> that will not grow high enough to impact the lines. (SEPA Plant and Animal Policies) <br /> 6.2 NATURAL GAS <br /> 6.2.1 Threshold <br /> View issues must be addressed in the Review Process II or III application for aboveground <br /> utilities. <br /> 6.3 NON-RENEWABLE RESOURCES <br /> 6.3.1 Threshold <br /> New mining activities are not addressed in this SEPA review. <br /> 6.3.3 Mitigation Measures <br /> None. <br /> Section 7: ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH <br /> 7.1 NOISE <br /> 7.1.1 Threshold <br /> All development in Everett must be in conformance with the requirements of EMC 20.08,the Noise Control <br /> Ordinance. Noise studies may be required to determine if a proposal is in conformance with the ordinance. <br /> Engine run-up noise is exempt during daytime hours from the City and County noise regulations,but can result in <br /> significant short-term noise levels in residential areas. Boeing is permitted to add additional engine run-up stations <br /> provided a noise study is completed which documents that noise levels will not exceed those established in the 1991 <br /> EIS for the Boeing Expansion. <br /> Other than noted above,any use that is exempt or partially exempt from EMC 20.08 and that exceeds the standards <br /> in EMC 20.08,including new jet engine run-up stations, must submit additional SEPA analysis of noise impacts. <br /> The City's Responsible Official may impose conditions to mitigate impacts beyond that required in the noise <br /> ordinance. <br /> 7.1.3 Mitigation Measures <br /> 1. Warning devices on vehicles(back up beepers)are exempt from the City's noise ordinance,but are perceived as <br /> imitating by most people. Developments that abut residential zones must be designed to shield vehicle <br /> maneuvering and loading areas from residential areas by placement of buildings,berms,etc. (SEPA <br /> Environmental Health Policies) <br /> 7.2 TOXIC/HAZARDOUS MATERIALS AND EXPLOSIVES <br /> 7.2.1 Threshold <br /> 12 I//� <br />
