The standards and guidelines supplement the other applicable standards in the zoning <br /> code. In the event of a conflict between these requirements and the standards of other <br /> sections of the zoning code, these requirements shall control; provided, however, the <br /> requirements established as part of the creation of any historic or design overlay zone <br /> shall take precedence over any conflicting requirements in this chapter. When residential <br /> uses are to be part of a mixed use commercial development, the requirements contained <br /> herein shall apply,but may be modified by the planning director as needed to provide for <br /> the reasonable accommodation of mixed use and commercial development encouraged by <br /> the comprehensive plan.
