August 13, 2014 <br /> Bill No. 1407-35 and the City Clerk is directed to call the roll for the final <br /> disposition of the ordinance. <br /> AYES: Roberts, Murphy, Gipson, Bader, Stonecipher, <br /> Anderson <br /> NAYS: None <br /> RECUSED: Moore <br /> Ordinance No. 3396-14 adopted. <br /> PUBLIC HEARING — EVERETT TRANSIT DEVELOPMENT <br /> PLAN AND ANNUAL REPORT <br /> Council President Moore opened a public hearing regarding the 2014- <br /> 2019 Everett Transit Development Plan and 2013 Annual Report. <br /> Tom Hingson, Transit, stated the Everett Transit Development Plan is a <br /> planning document that Everett Transit is required to deliver to the state <br /> by September 1 each year and hold a public hearing. The plan describes <br /> Everett Transportation Service's accomplishments for 2013 and their <br /> goals for the next six years. <br /> Sabina Popa, Transit, gave a brief slide presentation showing Everett <br /> Transit's accomplishments in 2013 and 2014. <br /> Council President Moore invited public comment. <br /> J. T. Dray, Everett, expressed concern regarding the lack of discussion <br /> related to Everett Transit at the city council meetings and suggested that <br /> maps be added to the bus scheduling books to help patrons negotiate the <br /> system. He provided a document entitled "Thought Experiment" to the <br /> council members. <br /> Moved by Council Member Roberts, seconded by Council Member <br /> Bader, to close the public hearing. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> 228 <br />
