April 25, 2012
PUBLIC HEARING:
President Gipson opened a public hearing regarding a resolution
concerning 2012 Community Development Block Grant Annual Action
Plan and other funding sources.
Dave Koenig, Planning, thanked the committee members involved with
putting the proposal together. It gets harder each year as the federal
government money is shrinking. There are three funding sources that are
part of the budget: the community development block grants, 2060 trust
funds, and some federal pass through HOME funds.
No citizens wished to comment.
Moved by Council Member Nielsen, seconded by Council Member
Hatloe to close the public hearing.
Roll was called with all council members voting yes except Council
Members Stonecipher and Affholter who were excused.
Motion carried.
RESOLUTION — 2012 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT
ANNUAL ACTION PLAN
Moved by Council Member Roberts, seconded by Council Member
Hatloe to adopt Resolution No. 6491 concerning 2012 Community
Development Block Grant Annual Action Plan and other funding
sources authorizing the Mayor to sign and submit the Annual Action
Plan and application.
Roll was called with all council members voting yes except Council
Members Stonecipher and Affholter who were excused.
Motion carried.
119
