Time limit for Review Process II and III permits. If a complete application has not been filed for 'a building permit or equivalent construction permit 'within eighteen months on a project for which a land use permit has been granted under Review Process II or III, and an extension has not been granted: A. The land use permit shall be deemed to be terminated, except where a time limit on the land use permit is otherwise established by federal or state law, city ordinance, or an executed development agreement. B. If the permittee requests an extension in writing not later than eighteen months from the land use permit date, the director may grant a six-month extension. For any reapplication, the city may use the existing SEPA determination or may require new or additional environmental documents as provided by WAC 197-11-600. Review Process II and III Permits Approved Prior to May 21, 2008 - For all land use permits under Review Process II and III which were approved prior to May 21, 2008, for the period of March 25, 2009, until December 31, 2011,. the following shall apply: If a complete application has not been filed for a building permit or equivalent construction permit within twenty-four months on a project for which a land use permit has been approved under Review Process II or III prior to May 21, 2008, and an extension has not been granted: A. The land use permit shall be deemed to be terminated, except where a time limit on the land use permit is otherwise established by federal or state law, city ordinance, or an executed development agreement. B. If the permittee requests an extension in writing not later than twenty-four months from the land use permit date, the director may grant a twelve-month extension. Not more than two twelve-month extensions may be granted by the director. For any reapplication, the city may use the existing SEPA determination or may require new or additional environmental documents as provided by WAC 197-11-600.
