I <br /> I <br /> 1 107„91GRWi <br /> I 2 General <br /> 3 <br /> 4 1;=07 9(1):INSTINGRI <br /> III 5 Section 1-07.9(1) is supplemented with the following: <br /> 6 <br /> 7 „1 7 171507`iP GRl <br /> I 8 (January 8, 2016) <br /> 9 The Federal wage rates incorporated in this contract have been established by the <br /> 10 Secretary of Labor under United States Department of Labor General Decision No. <br /> 0 11 WA160001. <br /> 12 <br /> 13 The State rates incorporated in this contract are applicable to all construction <br /> 14 activities associated with this contract. <br /> 15 <br /> 16 19rfor T' :aG R� <br /> 17 (April 2, 2007) <br /> 18 Application of Wage Rates for the Occupation of Landscape Construction <br /> 19 State prevailing wage rates for public works contracts are included in this contract <br /> I 20 and show a separate listing for the occupation: <br /> 21 <br /> 22 Landscape Construction, which includes several different occupation <br /> 23 descriptions such as: Irrigation and Landscape Plumbers, Irrigation and <br /> I 24 Landscape Power Equipment Operators, and Landscaping or Planting <br /> 25 Laborers. <br /> 26 <br /> 27 In addition, federal wage rates that are included in this contract may also include <br /> 28 occupation descriptions in Federal Occupational groups for work also specifically <br /> 29 identified with landscaping such as: <br /> I 30 <br /> 31 Laborers with the occupation description, Landscaping or Planting, or <br /> 32 <br /> 33 Power Equipment Operators with the occupation description, Mulch Seeding <br /> 34 Operator. <br /> 35 <br /> 11 36 If Federal wage rates include one or more rates specified as applicable to <br /> 37 landscaping work, then Federal wage rates for all occupation descriptions, specific <br /> 38 or general, must be considered and compared with corresponding State wage <br /> 39 rates. The higher wage rate, either State or Federal, becomes the minimum wage <br /> I 40 rate for the work performed in that occupation. <br /> 41 <br /> 42 Contractors are responsible for determining the appropriate crafts necessary to <br /> I 43 perform the contract work. If a classification considered necessary for performance <br /> 44 of the work is missing from the Federal Wage Determination applicable to the <br /> 45 contract, the Contractor shall initiate a request for approval of a proposed wage <br /> 46 and benefit rate. The Contractor shall prepare and submit Standard Form 1444, <br /> 47 Request for Authorization of Additional Classification and Wage Rate available at <br /> 48 http://www.wdol.gov/docs/sf1444.pdf, and submit the completed form to the Project <br /> I49 Engineer's office.
