Visual inspection. <br /> 22 <br /> I 23 2. Compressive strength tests, conforming to Section 6-13.3(4). <br /> 24 <br /> 25 3. Water absorption tests, conforming to Section 6-13.3(4). <br /> I 26 <br /> 27 4. Manufacturer's Certificate of Compliance in accordance with Section <br /> 28 1-06.3. <br /> I 29 <br /> 30 5. Freeze-thaw tests conducted on the lot of blocks produced for use in <br /> 31 this project, as specified in Section 6-13.3(4). <br /> I 32 <br /> 33 6. Copies of results from tests conducted on the lot of blocks produced <br /> 34 for this project by the concrete block fabricator in accordance with the <br /> 35 quality control program required by the structural earth wall <br /> I <br /> 36 manufacturer. <br /> 37 <br /> 38 The blocks shall be considered acceptable regardless of curing age when <br /> I <br /> 39 compressive test results indicate that the compressive strength conforms to <br /> 40 the 28-day requirements, and when all other acceptability requirements <br /> 41 specified above are met. <br /> I 42 <br /> 43 Testing and inspection of dry cast concrete blocks shall conform to ASTM C <br /> 44 140, and shall include block fabrication plant approval by WSDOT prior to the <br /> I <br /> 45 start of block production for this project. <br /> 46 <br /> 47 Mortar <br /> I 48 Mortar shall conform to ASTM C 270, Type S, with an integral water repellent <br /> 49 admixture as approved by the Engineer. The amount of admixture shall be as <br /> I 4155 STREET TO WMVD FREIGHT <br /> CORRIDOR IMPROVEMENTS <br /> FED AID#STPUL-9931(012); PW#3472 SP-89 February 10,2016 <br />
