The broken pattern shall be <br /> 38 based on a 40-foot unit, consisting of a 4-foot line with a 36-foot gap if <br /> 39 paint or tape is used. If temporary raised pavement markers are used, the <br /> 40 pattern shall be based on a 40-foot unit, consisting of a grouping of three <br /> 41 temporary raised pavement markers, each spaced 3 feet apart, with a 34 , <br /> 42 foot gap. <br /> 43 <br /> 44 Temporary Edge Line —A SOLID line used on the edges of Traveled <br /> 45 Way. The line shall be continuous if paint or tape is used.
