-20-
If there is a substantial lapse of time from the submittal of this
report to the start of work at the site, or if conditions change due to
natural causes or construction activities at or adjacent to the site, we
recommend that this report be reviewed to determine the applicability of
our conclusions and recommendations considering the changed conditions
and/or time lapse.
We recommend that we be retained to review those portions of the plans
and specifications which pertain to foundations and earthwork to evalu-
ate if they are consistent with the intent of our recommendations. In
addition, we recommend that we be retained to observe construction
activities, particularly with regard to foundations and earthwork. We
would also be available to make such other geotechnical field observa-
tions as may be necessary.
Unanticipated soil conditions are commonly encountered during construc-
tion, and cannot be fully determined by field explorations. Such un-
expected conditions can require that additional expense be made to
attain a properly constructed project. Therefore, some contingency
funds are recommended to accommodate such potential extra costs.
We appreciate the opportunity to be of service. If you have any ques-
tions or comments, or require additional services, please contact us.
J/ir
CONVERSE CONSULTANTS NWrr` s`. nM.
yC
y z ct
W
q 19491 rr, 2 1
Will ' • M.
