• <br /> 2010 <br /> Budget Adjustments <br /> Tally Sheet <br /> Department Code Rev Exp FB <br /> GGA-6 Police Amendment-UASI Grant 2010-2011 031A 149,000 <br /> GGA-6 General Fund Amendment-UASI Grant 2010-2011 ; 002A r 149,000 <br /> Using Urban Area Security Initiative grant funds,the Seattle Police Department in August 2008 <br /> agreed to provide funding to the City of Everett for one contract Intelligence Analyst. The <br /> proposed Amendment No. 2 to the Interagency Agreement with the Seattle Police Department <br /> would (1) extend the term of the Agreement from May 15, 2010 to January 31, 2012 and (2) <br /> increase funding by an additional $149,000 for the Analyst from $122,858 to $271,858 to cover <br /> the two year grant period. This analyst, working under the direct supervision of the Everett <br /> Police Department, focuses on detecting and preventing terrorism and other related crime, such <br /> as importing illegal weapons, organized crime and criminal gangs, as well as protecting critical <br /> infrastructure. This Agreement provides an analytical capability within the northern region of <br /> the Seattle Urban Area, City of Everett and Snohomish County. The funding of$62,000 is being provided to continue wages for the current City <br /> Homeland Security Planner position through 2010 and into 2011.
