y 441 RESOLUTION No. 6825 Resolution for Expenditure of 2015 Human Needs Grant Funding WHEREAS, the City allocates funding each year to be used for human needs programs; and WHEREAS, $314,700 is included in the 2015 budget for this purpose; and WHEREAS, there exists in the community a call for funds to supplement human needs programs; and WHEREAS, the City Council adopted priorities for Human Needs funding on November 26, 2014; and WHEREAS, the Human Needs Advisory Committee, formed to make annual recommendations to the City Council for allocation of these funds, has voted to recommend funding as listed below; 1. American Red Cross Snohomish County Chapter: Local Disaster Relief $6,000 2. Arc of Snohomish County: Counseling and Guidance, Shelter &Food, $27,000 and Health Services , 3. Arts Council of Snohomish County: Art Alternatives $3,500 4. Boys & Girls Clubs: Kids' Café- Trailside $2.600 5. Bridgeways: Permanent Housing Emerald Apts. and Supported $16,500 , Employment 6. CampFire of Snohomish County: Mega Club $3,300 7. Catholic Community Services: Volunteer Chore Services and Family $14,500 and Children's Services 8. ChildStrive: Counseling in Early Intervention and Shelter Program $10,500 9. Cocoon House: Emergency Shelter for Teens $20,000 10. Cocoon House: Outreach Services $6,000 11. Community Health Center: Health Services for Uninsured, Low Income $5,000 &Homeless Youth 12. Compass Health: Cocoon House Youth Counseling $17,000 13. Compass Health: Bailey Peer Center $7,500 14. Dawson Place Child Advocacy: Center Coordinator and Cribs for Kids $19,100 15. Domestic Violence Services of Snohomish County: Children's Program $19,000 16. Everett Gospel Mission: Mobile Dental Van $6,000 17. Everett Recovery Café: Peer-to-Peer Recovery $5,000 18. Everett United Church of Christ: Soup Kitchen $3,500 19.
