January 21, 2015 <br /> PUBLIC HEARING — RESOLUTION/PORT OF EVERETT <br /> DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT <br /> Council President Bader opened a public hearing on a proposed <br /> resolution amending Resolution No. 5382, as amended by Resolution No. <br /> 5703, and amending Exhibit A of Resolution No. 5703, the Development <br /> Agreement for the project formerly known as the Port of Everett North <br /> Marina Redevelopment Planned Development Overlay Zone, and <br /> authorizing the Mayor to execute the amended and restated Development <br /> Agreement for the Port of Everett Waterfront Place Central Planned <br /> Development Overlay Zone. <br /> President Bader questioned whether any council member had a conflict of <br /> interest or any reason why he or she should not participate in this public <br /> hearing. There was no response. <br /> Dave Koenig, Planning, gave a brief slide presentation. He stated that <br /> this site is zoned Waterfront Commercial Planned Development Overlay <br /> and this is an amendment to create a new master plan under the <br /> development agreement between the city and the property owner, the <br /> Port of Everett. It will replace the existing development agreement that <br /> was established in 2005. <br /> Terrie Battuello, Chief of Business Development, and Denny Derickson, <br /> Consultant, Port of Everett, responded to questions and concerns from <br /> the council members. <br /> President Bader invited public comment. <br /> Hugh Hall, Mukilteo, spoke in support of the Waterfront Place <br /> Development. <br /> Moved by Council Member Moore, seconded by Council Member <br /> Roberts, to close the public hearing. <br /> 13 <br />
