December 27, 2012 <br /> explained that the three candidates will wait in the conference room and <br /> will be called into the council chambers one at a time. Each candidate will <br /> be asked six questions, one from each council member. He remarked <br /> that the vote will not be taken until the council meeting on January 2, <br /> 2013. <br /> Council Member Gipson thanked the council members for their support <br /> during his tenure as Council President and stated that his first and <br /> foremost obligation was to protect the city council. <br /> CITY ATTORNEY <br /> The City Attorney had no comments. <br /> CITIZEN COMMENTS <br /> Jackie Minchew, Everett, expressed his displeasure regarding the <br /> purchase of bottled water for the city council members. He reminded <br /> everyone that the Lowell Neighborhood 150th Anniversary calendars are <br /> still available for sale, and he spoke regarding a movement by the First <br /> Nations people of Canada, "Idle No More." <br /> INTERVIEWS — COUNCIL POSITION NO. 3 <br /> The council members interviewed June Robinson, Pete Kinch and Scott <br /> Murphy, candidates for vacant Council Position No. 3.
