January 2, 2013 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at <br /> 6:30 p.m., January 2, 2013, in the City Council Chambers of the Everett <br /> City Hall, President Moore presiding. Upon roll call it was found that <br /> Council Members Roberts, Moore, Gipson, Bader, Stonecipher, and <br /> Affholter were present. Mayor Stephanson was excused. <br /> Council Member Bader led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the December 27, 2012, Everett City Council meeting <br /> were approved as printed. <br /> MAYOR <br /> The Mayor had no comments. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> President Moore presented Council Member Gipson with a plaque in <br /> appreciation of his leadership and service as city council president in <br /> 2012. <br /> Council Member Gipson thanked his colleagues for the opportunity to <br /> serve as council president and stated it is an honor to continue his family's <br /> tradition of public service. <br /> Council members expressed condolences to President Moore on the <br /> recent passing of his mother and thanked Council Member Gipson for his <br /> service and commitment. <br /> CITY ATTORNEY <br /> The City Attorney had no comments. <br /> 1 <br />
