The FY 2011 Agreement with the State <br /> Department of Commerce provides $35,342 in funding to improve the criminal justice and <br /> community response to violence against women in Snohomish County. The grant funds will be <br /> used for law enforcement training. ". ssc;; MPr.�c.�a"T .. =:L <br /> Department Code Rev Exp FB <br /> GGA-4 Police Amendment-Buffer Zone Protection Grant 031A 119,500 <br /> GGA-4 General Fund Amendment-Buffer Zone Protection Grant 002A 119,500 <br /> The Police Department has been awarded a $119,500 Buffer Zone Protection Program grant <br /> from the US Department of Homeland Security, Federal Emergency Management Agency. <br /> These funds are allocated to increase the preparedness capabilities of jurisdictions responsible <br /> for the safety and security of communities surrounding high-priority critical infrastructure and <br /> key resource assets through planning and equipment acquisition.
