The goal is to reduce <br /> the number of people killed or seriously injured by impaired drivers in Snohomish County <br /> through aggressive, multijurisdictional, high-visibility patrols using an integrated systems <br /> approach to traffic safety which is evidenced-based and targets the locations where the most <br /> safety benefit can be realized. The allocation for the Everett Police department is$10,000. <br /> Council approved acceptance of this award at the November 30, 2011, Council meeting. <br /> Increase Grant Revenue 002 3332060131 10,000 <br /> Increase Overtime Budget 031 5220000120 10,000 <br /> Department Code Rev Exp FB <br /> GGA-6 Police Amendment-SNAP Fraud Grant 031A 12,000 <br /> GGA-6 General Fund Amendment-SNAP Fraud Grant 002A 12,000 <br /> The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Office of Inspector General is providing $12,000 to the <br /> Everett Police department to conduct and participate in joint law enforcement operations by <br /> cooperating in a comprehensive law enforcement effort to identify and locate individuals and <br /> businesses involved in Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) fraud and related <br /> violations throughout the state.
