2012 <br /> Budget Adjustments <br /> Tally Sheet <br /> Department Code Rev Exp FB <br /> GGA-10 Non Dept Gen Fund Amendment-SRO Agreement 009A 191,358 <br /> GGA-10 General Fund Amendment-SRO Agreement 002A 191,358 <br /> City Council approved the School Resource Officer Agreement between the City and the Everett <br /> School District at the May 9, 2012 council meeting. This program places Everett Police Officers <br /> in the Everett District high schools to promote public safety and awareness within the schools. <br /> The Everett School District agrees to continue providing 75%funding of two officers for the next <br /> three school years, September 2012—June 2015,for the SRO program. <br /> The Everett School District will be billed annually as follows: <br /> 2012-2013 school year- $191,358 <br /> 2013-2014 school year- $199,412 <br /> 2014-2015 school year- $207,917 <br /> The budgeted expenditures related to these officers are already in the 2012 budget; therefore <br /> only the interlocal revenue is added with this amendment. <br /> Increase Ending Fund Balance 009 ' 5980000490 191,358 <br /> Increase SRO Grant Revenue 000 3382103031 191,358 <br /> Department Rev Exp FB <br /> GGA-11 Police Amendment-Port Security Grant 031A 429,304 <br /> GGA-11 General Fund Amendment-Port Security Grant 002A 429,304 <br /> The Marine Exchange of Puget Sound has received approval from the Federal Emergency <br /> Management Agency (FEMA) to award $429,304 in grant monies from the Port Security Grant <br /> Program to the City of Everett for a Response Vessel Project. The Response Vessel Project is a <br /> combined effort of the Everett Police and Fire Departments. The Response Vessel consists of the <br /> vessel along with requested electronics, accessories, engines, fire suppression equipment and <br /> trailer. The original required match has been waived.
