These <br /> grants are intended to supplement the local jurisdiction's emergency management operating <br /> budget in an effort to enhance its emergency management program. <br /> The City's FFY 12 State Homeland Security EMPG grant award was $68,971, the required local <br /> match is already provided in the emergency management operating budget. This amendment <br /> increases the fire department's budget by$68,971.
