The goal is to reduce the number of people <br /> killed or seriously injured by impaired drivers in Snohomish County by deploying DUI patrols at times and locations <br /> where data indicates that the most safety benefit can be realized. The Everett Police Department was allocated <br /> $12,000 to participate in this project. <br /> Council authorized the Mayor to sign a Memorandum of Understanding with the WTSC at the October 3,2012, <br /> Council meeting for this allocation. <br /> Increase grant revenue 002 3332060131 12,000 <br /> Increase Police overtime budget 009 5220000120 12,000 <br /> Department Code Rev Exp FB <br /> GGA-20 Planning Amendment-Commerce GMA Grant 021A 45,000 <br /> GGA-20 General Fund Amendment-Commerce GMA Grant 002A 45,000 <br /> The City was awarded a grant from the Washington State Department of Commerce in the amount of$45,000 to <br /> develop an innovative program to accommodate projected population and employment growth in the City. The <br /> grant provides assistance in addressing an important issue of the City's 2015 comprehensive plan update.
