DESIGN PALETTE <br /> Street Furniture <br /> The following types of street furniture—such as benches, f,•,t ��r x . ,.,, <br /> bollards, trash receptacles, and parking pay stations—ares <br /> recommended for the core area to enhance the pedestrian <br /> experience. These elements work together along with the x`'r <br /> other streetscape features, such as lights and kiosks, to - ! ; 1 ! 1 <br /> create a cohesive, integrated environment. Consistent <br /> •street furnishings will be encouraged throughout the core ¢ � <br /> for continuity, but in some instances the furniture may <br /> display a unique design or color to differentiate districts and <br /> signature streets. <br /> Street furniture is recommended in the street where high <br /> pedestrian volume is expected, especially the retail and <br /> connector streets.
