7. The area from N. Broadway 700 to 1100 block and two blocks on either side, arrests for Narcotics-related activity during 2005 were listed at 15. For the same time period in 2006, the total arrests for Narcotics-related activity was listed at 30, showing a 100% increase. 8. The area from Broadway 1100 block to 3100 block and two blocks in each direction, there were 173 Narcotics-related arrests in 2005 and 142 arrests during the year 2006, or an 18% decrease. 9. The area of 3100 block Broadway to 4100 block Broadway and two blocks each direction in 2005 there were 45 Narcotics-related arrests and 60 arrests during the year 2006, or an increase of 33%. 10.For the area of Hewitt Ave. from the 1000 block to 3200 block and two blocks in each direction, during the year 2005 there were 109 arrests for Narcotics-related activityand 129 arrests during the year 2006 for an increase of 18%. Contained in this densely populated area are numerous restaurants, theaters, lounges, bars and the Everett Events Center. Needless to say the pedestrian traffic in this area is very high. 11.For the area 2900 block Rucker Ave. south to 4600 block, during the year 2005 there were 67 arrests for Narcotics-related activity and 47 arrests during the year 2006, or a 29.8% decrease. 12.For the area Evergreen Way 4700 block south to the city limits and two blocks in each direction, during the year 2005 there were 136 arrests in the area for Narcotics-related activity and 156 arrests during the year 2006, or an increase of 12%. 13.For the area Everett Mall area, which is described as the area bordered on the south by 104th Place Southeast, the west by 7th Avenue Southeast, on the north by Southeast Everett Mall Way, and on the east by Interstate 5, there were 71 arrests for Narcotics-related activity in 2005and 39 arrests during 2006 for Narcotics-related activity, or a decrease of 45%. 14.For the area of Casino Road from Evergreen Way to Airport Rd., during the year 2005 there were 62 arrests for Narcotics-related activity. During the year 2006 there were 77 arrests for Narcotics-related activity, or an increase of 24%.
